Greetings!  My name is Solveig Munson and I am the high school counselor at Bigfork High School.  It’s my job to be here for all students whether that be through academic, career, or social emotional supports. I absolutely love being a school counselor and have spent my entire career in public education as I was previously a high school English teacher and drama coach.

My husband Pat and I live in Bigfork, and we have two children in the school system as well.  I love the outdoors and being a native Montana, growing up on a ranch in central Montana, I enjoy getting outside as much as possible. We stay busy following all the sports in the valley and in my spare time, I sing in the Glacier Chorale in Kalispell and play the piano.

I love helping people and doing all I can to make their high school experience as smooth as possible.  And I’m a huge fan of all things Bigfork.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions.
